                                  Egzamin Ósmoklasisty

Egzamin ósmoklasisty to forma sprawdzania wiedzy uczniów po 8 latach nauki języka angielskiego. Ma formę testu i składa się z części sprawdzającej rozumienie ze słuchu, rozumienie tekstu czytanego, struktury gramatyczne oraz pisanie krótkiej wypowiedzi pisemnej.



Jak więc wynika z poprzedniego zdania sprawdzane są raczej umiejętności niż wiedza sensu stricte.

I tak odmiana czasownika „ to be” może pojawić się jako element do uzupełnienia w zdaniu bądź w tekście, który trzeba uzupełnić odpowiednią jego formą a nie jako polecenie: : Odmień czasownik przez osoby”. I to jest jedna z większych trudności jakie są napotykane przez uczniów.

Problem radzenia sobie z zadaniami egzaminacyjnymi wynika nie tylko z rozdźwięku pomiędzy tym co robi się w klasie a tym co jest wymagane na egzaminie ale również z braku możliwości przećwiczenia wszystkich umiejętności przez nauczyciela w szkole i niskiego poziomu edukacji publicznej jako takiej; o notorycznych zmianach w samym egzaminie nie wspominając. 



Zrozumienie ze słuchu wymaga nie tylko zrozumienia poszczególnych słów, ale również wychwycenia szerokiego kontekstu wypowiedzi. Do tego dialogi osób mówiących są konstruowane w podchwytliwy sposób i wiedza o tym jak rozwiązywać tego typu zadania może okazać się bezcenna.

Pisanie maila to prawdziwe wyzwanie dla ósmoklasistów, którzy nieraz spotykają się z tego typu zadaniem po raz pierwszy.  „Pani w szkole nie miała na to czasu”, „ Co roku mieliśmy innego nauczyciela” , „ To mieliśmy robić sobie sami w domu ale Pani nie sprawdzała” to częste wypowiedzi uczniów pokazujące obraz sytuacji. W tej części egzaminu uczeń, który chociaż jako tako zna słownictwo powinien sobie poradzić ale i tu przyda się podpowiedź nauczyciela od czego zacząć pisanie takiej wypowiedzi , co jest brane pod uwagę przez egzaminatora przy ocenianiu, jak wybrnąć w przypadku braku pomysłów no i tą umiejętność trzeba przez wszystkim ćwiczyć, ćwiczyć, ćwiczyć….


Rozwiązaniem tego typu problemów jest rozwiązywanie jak największej ilości testów egzaminacyjnych oraz praca pod kierunkiem dobrego nauczyciela znającego specyfikę tych testów oraz przepracowanie problematycznych zagadnień.
